This Privacy Policy explains how Rusenas (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Rusenas AI Generator plugin (“Plugin”) and the related content generation service (“Service”) at ai.rusenas.com.

1. Information we collect

Account registration

When you register through the Plugin, we collect:

  • Email address (required) — used to create your account and send service notifications.
  • Full name (optional) — stored in your account profile.
  • Website domain — automatically detected from your WordPress installation to link your API key.

Content generation

When you submit a generation request, we receive:

  • Your API key (for authentication).
  • The article title, selected language, AI model, content type, and post status.
  • The prompt text sent to the AI model.
  • Your website domain.

Usage data

We track the following on a per-day, per-API-key basis:

  • Number of requests made.
  • Number of tokens consumed.

This data is used to enforce plan limits and is visible in your account.

2. How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the content generation Service.
  • Authenticate your requests via API key.
  • Enforce usage limits according to your subscription plan.
  • Send service-related notifications (account creation, API key generation, usage alerts).

3. What we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect personal data from visitors of your website.
  • We do not place cookies or tracking scripts on your WordPress site.
  • We do not access or store your WordPress admin credentials.
  • We do not read or store the generated content after it has been delivered to your Plugin. Generated text is stored temporarily in our job queue and deleted automatically after 30 days.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • When required by law or legal process.
  • To protect our rights, safety, or property.

The AI models run on servers managed by Rusenas. Your prompts and generated content are not shared with external AI providers.

5. Data retention

  • Account data (email, name, API keys) is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Generation jobs (prompts and responses) are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Usage logs (daily request and token counts) are retained for billing and analytics purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

  • API keys are stored as cryptographic hashes in our database.
  • All communication between the Plugin and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
  • Access to our server infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your account.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
