HR system is in beta testing

We’re happy to tell that our HR system now got to the stage of the beta testing. We still gonna improve it, and found more bugs to fix it and make system better, and we will be happy invite to the testing any company who is interested in this project. For all the testers we will provide best solutions for great period of usage for free or with great discount – depends of the involvement in the process of improvement.

There are the versions history of the system:

  • v0.1.0 — Core framework & authentication. MVC core built from scratch (router, database layer, sessions, validation, JSON API), CSRF/bcrypt/login-throttling security, auth with email verification and password reset, users, roles & permissions, audit log, dashboard, and the full UI shell with light/dark theme.
  • v0.2.0 — Server deployment support. HestiaCP flat-layout compatibility, `.htaccess` routing, environment configuration.
  • v0.3.0 — Employee management. Departments, positions, employee directory with search and filters, full profiles, emergency contacts, government IDs, document uploads, account linking.
  • v0.4.0 — Attendance. Shifts and assignments, clock in/out with IP recording, lateness/overtime/worked-time computation, manual records, records browser, holidays, My Attendance.
  • v0.5.0 — Leave. Leave types, yearly balances, working-day calculation, requests with overlap checks, approval queue, cancellation with balance restore.
  • v0.6.0 — Payroll. Salary components and structures, payroll runs, payslip generation with attendance snapshots, finalization, printable payslips, My Payslips.
  • v0.7.0 — Recruitment. Job openings, candidates, application pipeline with stages, interview notes, candidate-to-employee hiring.
  • v0.8.0 — Performance. Review cycles, criteria, manager scoring, employee acknowledgment.
  • v0.9.0 — Polish, tech console & installer. Org chart, settings page, self-service `/me` page, dashboard expansion; the `/tech` maintenance console with the zip-based update engine (backups, run-once migrations); the self-deleting web installer.
  • v1.0.0 — Production launch on your HestiaCP server via the installer.
  • v1.0.1–1.0.4 — Live fixes. FK type mismatches, permissions columns, double-slash URLs, badge visibility, automatic asset cache-busting.
  • v1.1.0 — Branches. Branch directory with managers; branch-scoped access to employees, attendance, and leave; filters everywhere.
  • v1.2.0–1.2.3 — Notifications & branding. SMTP settings with test mail, event email subscriptions, logo/favicon upload, linked-user picker.
  • v1.3.0 — Security. 2FA (authenticator app + email codes), per-branch sign-in IP allowlists with enforce toggle, optional clock-in geolocation, IPs surfaced in records.
  • v1.3.1 — Header clock button, synced both ways with the attendance page.
  • v1.3.2 — Attendance Calendar. Month timesheet matrix with colors, filters, and totals.
  • v1.4.0 — Approval workflows. Multi-approver leave (all configured approvers must approve); temporary self-service profile editing with HR-approved change requests and pending documents; Profile Changes review page.
  • v1.5.0 — Payslip PDFs. Built-in PDF generator, download buttons everywhere, PDFs attached to release emails, per-payslip re-send.
  • v1.6.0 — Payslip template editor. Visual block-based designer with live preview — editable company name, logo, sections, totals, free text, accent color.
  • v1.6.1 — Branch-scoped confirmations. Requester’s branch manager always required, strictly for their own branch (toggleable).
  • v1.6.2 — Clickable calendar with day-detail popup and in-place attendance editing.
  • v1.6.3 — Calendar cell-color fix (Bootstrap specificity).
  • v1.6.4 — Mark leave from the calendar popup (balance-checked, employee notified, cancellable).
  • v1.6.5 — Violet color for unpaid leave.
  • v1.6.6 — Dashboard “Requests” card replacing Roles — all pending approvals in one number.
  • v1.7.0 — Temporary remote access. Blocked-IP request flow: record → email confirmation → admin approval for 1–30 days → sign-in and clocking unlocked; per-employee/group eligibility; revocable grants.
  • v1.7.1 — “Ledger” redesign. New design system: typography (Manrope + Inter), cobalt primary, tabular numerals, refined cards and tables, restyled sign-in.
  • v1.7.2 — Contrast & polish pass. Brighter menu text, flush tinted table headers, calmer links, tuned dark mode.
  • v1.7.3 — Light sidebar with `#333333` menu text and the brass active rail — current version.
  • v1.7.4 — Calendar Week & Day views. Month/Week/Day switcher; Week shows Mon–Sun with clock-in/out times inside cells; Day shows a one-date roster; prev/next arrows, date picker, popup working in all views.
  • v1.7.5 — Day view timeline bars. Hours shown as progress bars on a 06:00–20:00 scale: green fill with times inside, striped while still clocked in, full-width colored bars for leave, dashed red outline for absences.
  • v1.7.6 — Day view layout. Narrower Employee column; the Hours timeline takes about half the table.
  • v1.8.0 — “Regular” employee status. New status (blue badge) in forms, profile, and directory filter; counted as employed everywhere including payroll run generation. (migration)
  • v1.9.0 — Break tracking. Start/End break on the Attendance page plus an amber Break button in the header; multiple breaks per day with IPs, auto-close at clock-out, break time deducted from worked minutes, breaks listed in the day popup. (migration)
  • v1.10.0 — Overtime modes. Setting attendance.overtime_mode: auto (as before) or request — overtime credited only after an employee request (capped at measured time) approved from a queue on the Records page; emails, audit, dashboard Requests count. (migration)
  • v1.11.0 — Contributions & tax. Configurable statutory rules (Payroll → Contributions & Tax): contributions on clamped gross, taxes after contributions minus allowance; amounts become payslip deductions; seeded Bulgarian-style examples start inactive. (migration)
  • v1.11.1 — Small fixes. Mark absent from the calendar popup; attendance.show_unpaid_leave setting; mobile menu made scrollable with better touch targets.
  • v1.11.2 — Desktop sidebar fix. The mobile scroll rule was leaking to desktop; scoped correctly.
  • v1.12.0 — Ledger 2.0 redesign. Modern indigo primary, pill sidebar navigation with a brass jewel on the active item, floating cards, chip badges, modern radii/shadows/focus rings, deeper sign-in page, retuned dark theme.
  • v1.12.1 — Calendar 2.0. Refreshed cell palette matched across legend/week/day views, legend chips, and a new bottom section: period statistics (attendance rate, presents, absences, late arrivals, leave) + upcoming leave for the next 30 days.
  • v1.12.2 — Absent marks & unpaid-as-red. Mark absent became a real stored, reversible status working on any day including today; with unpaid leave hidden, those days now display red instead of orange. (migration)
